Almaty, Reykjavik, Ulan Bator, oh you name it

It has been sometime, since I developed my curiosity toward some cities which may sound quite 'foreign' to some people, or maybe most people. So 'foreign' are those cities in people's ears, they don't even know which continent those cities belong. Well, that's the fun part I guess! Paris, for instance, millions of people have been there, millions have read or heard quite a lot of information about Paris. How romantic the city is, and how many people fell in love with the city itself. But what about Almaty, or Reykjavik (which actually is also located in Europe), or Ulan Bator? Most people probably just have heard a glimpse about them. And that is why I would love to travel to those cities, and be able to explore them in person, not just through looking at videos ;)
